Same turbo?

Hi all, Im just wondering if it is the same turbo in the Cupra R as it is in the Cupra?
Ive tried the search and came up with nothing.

no the have different turbos cupra have ko3 and cupra R have ko3s turbos

forgot to mention you can get ko3s in skoda octavia vrs and audi tt 180 models and golf 180 models if your looking to upgrade

i thought the cupra r had the ko3 turbo and it was just the ecu that was different?

The Cupra and Cupra R Mk3 Ibiza's have the same turbos (K03). Have a search on the forum for the differences between the models.

Just a different map on the ibiza cupra r.

yep definately same turbo, its the leon cupra R that has a different turbo (k04)

are you confusing yourself with the early Leon Cupra R's which were 215bhp??

Early leon cupra r's were 210 not 215 so i have no idea where he got those figures from.

No i forgot to write that Im considering a stage 1 remap which is roughly a 60 bhp jump. Sorry it was late when i replied!

might say it there, but normal stage 1 wont get those results, realistically ya looking at about 195-200 bhp

Well as I say im only quoting whats written and what Ive been told by the lads at BBT's. Ive got a rr day booked (on an accurate machine) for about 3 weeks after I intend on gettin it dun so I'll find out then
