green cotton or pipercross

hi another newbie question sorry. just wondering what open cone air filter should i buy a green cotton or a pipercross? does anyone here have one?

I used a green cotton on my car. It was fine but at £200 it certainly wasnt worth the money although I didnt actually pay for it.

Im now using a Forge open cone filter which cost £45 and it does the job fine

Yeah I was using the dynatwist, its just a cone filter in a heatshield

i've got a green cone on my cupra, it seems to do the job well, get a nice woosh from the re-circ d/v aswell

Open cone filter, Forge tip and a relocation kit does the trick pretty well. My GF has this set up on hers runnin the Forge 007 re-circ valve and its very very loud.

Jetex open cone for me. Flowed better than dynatwist, BMC and standardf air box when i logged it.

Thank may well do that, how much you say it was again? 45 on own how much was the relocation kit?

I dont have a relocation kit on mine, its my g/f that has one. Theres not a specific kit for the ibiza but it can be made by using various bits of silicone, t-pieces & jubiliee clips.

Search for 'relocation kit' and you should be able to find all the info you need. Yes the forge filter was £45

go for cotton. avoid foam, small dust particles sneak through foam, and over time its like sand blasting yer turbo-not good.

yeah not heard good things about pipercross on these, i run a k&n with the forge 007 and it runs great pulls well and sounds loud
