I have recently been to AMD and remapped my cupra, OMG what a difference.

The reason for this thread is that my mate recently turbo'd his R32, before it was supercharged and he wasn't happy. Anyway we were wanting to know how mine would perform against his, we didn't do it from a rolling start as he has 4WD and it was wet.

All I can say is wow!! The car just showed what it is capable of.....give this a read!!

You wanna try it with a full exhaust and filter mate ;)

Welcome to the Revo club!
I came from a 2.0T A3 Revo'd and found that it was faster than the 3.2 V6. I did want an S3 but with a new little baby i had to get my priorities right so thought i'd go for the Cupra and save 10K, i haven't looked back since, i love it!!

Enjoy the car and keep an eye on that speedo, otherwise it'll get you in trouble!

Seriously great cars...in a way i am glad everyone opts for golfs, sts and vxrs. Keeps the Cupra nice and unique.

Thats open for debate though :p. Official figure is 240bhp, but most cars dyno at closer to 260bhp after a few miles with no mods.

The one we dyno'd the other day made 233hp which is about spot on for the quoted 240ps.

Alot will depend on the dyno too

I assume we are talking about the 7up kid Wayne here? (7up being the blonde phase he is in at the moment, much like the 7up kid with the flat top hairdo)

How many miles were on it? Seems like other Cupra's with a few miles on them make a fair bit more and this has been found to be the case on varius rolling roads.
