Hi All,

For those of is that dont have a cupra and wanting better brakes can anyone tell me would a G60 front brake setup fit the cupra hubs?

Cheers

Alex

Yeah G60 Corrado brakes are direct fit.

4x100 280mm 22mm thick

I've just ordered some ATE power discs for a G60 Corrado from ECP, eliptically grooved like the Brembo ones Bill sometimes has on offer

If you do not have a cupra the G60 brakes will not fit the hubs btw.

Yeah I know I need to replace the hubs with cupra versions to get the brakes to fit.

I have found a set but they want £100 + VAT for them.

Do you think that is expensive?

Cheers

Are they actually doing those again? Thought they'd stopped doing them.

When I phoned on Monday the guy said he'd have to order them in as no outlet stocked them but I asked him to confirm they were definitely the grooved versions and he seemed certain. I'm going to pick them up on Saturday so we'll soon see

Dont know about the hub price but I have my old cupra brakes from when I upgraded to Brembos.

Hi there,

How much are you wanting for your setup?

Does it include the calipers, carriers, discs and pads?

How many miles have the discs and pads done?

Cheers

Rang ECP today to check if I could pick them up tomorrow and they confirmed they're unable to get hold of them anymore from any supplier :(

Also looks like GSF have stopped doing Brembo Max discs for the G60 setup as well...

Back to the drawing board it is

Unfortunately Bill hasn't got any in stock until the guy that machines the grooves relocates his workshop and I need an uprated setup for my ring trip next month.

I've already got DS2500s and Motul RBF600 off of Bill and now just need some disks to match.

Yeah I guess the pads and fluid will make the biggest difference.

Just out of interest, anyone tried Nitrac or Black Diamond discs before?
