vibration through accelerator pedal

experienced this for the first time last night, its quite a strong vibration just as the engine comes on boost, tickles the foot a little.

anyone heard of or experienced this before? what was wrong?

Dmf ? Does it come throught the clutch too?

my FR+ was doing this too after the last service, it seems to have went away now though? was coming through all the pedals!

Dual mass flywheel.
Can be problematic with wear approaching 80k mark.
There are others on here that have had dmf replacements under warranty at as little as 35k.
Generally feels like a knocking through the pedal box on clutch take up.
To be fair though some amount of what you are seeing is probably normal as the pd unit is not the most refined.

mine is just at 44k as well, i just though the mechanic had taken it out for a rag around without telling me.....

funny thing happened today, as i turned it off the car vibrated from the engine bay for 5 seconds after removing key!!!

WTF!
