It's gone

My Leon TDi FR has gone and in it's place is a VW Passat 2.0 TDi SE (With Leather)

It's list of problems have been:

Sketchy service history
Dodgy handling - Oversteer, aquaplaning
A break-in - the alarm didn't go off....
Road noise
Off camber at the rear (Never got round to sorting that)
Not very economic - averaged 42mpg over 10,000 miles
Smoky, very smoky
Creaky front dash
Squeaky pedals
Leaky boot (Apparently)
Leak around the driver's sill
Leak in the front passenger footwell
The bonnet wasn't on quite right
Not sure where the second key went - I never got it (Got one cut though)

These are the things I can remember....

It's reg - It begins with GV05. PM me for the rest of the registration.

It was sold, today, in the Scunthorpe area.

I've replied - I hope it's been cleaned up for you and some of those problems sorted.... I also suspect that it's almost out of Warranty too....

Have a look at the front bumper just near the drivers side wheel - I think there was a little evidence of the front bumper having been yellow at some point - It could, of course, be something else....

Just remember a lot of second hand cars do have problems, thats is why some people sell, but these can be cleared and they should come with some warranty if bought from a garage. If all of us knew exactly what second hand cars have had problem wise we would probably not buy any!!
