Nothing wrong, Ian, horses for courses.
What Bill / we mean is that if you're going to run an external wastegate, you buy the turbo version without an internal wastegate.......
Just weld the internal wastegate shut? Seen that done before, but yeah - should have bought a different turbo or he'll have to fit a blockoff plate to the mani.
why buy an internally gated turbo and then brag you are running an externally gated manifold?

because thats how it came but it has been blanked off from the inside but the arm has been left so next year when i change it again for something else it can be converted back to internal wastegate so it can be sold on. anymore inconstructive comments!!!!

why did you buy the internally gated unit? blocked as in welded up? not so easy to revert this if so.

sort of i did a deal with my standard turbo and another turbo which i had previously bought cheap and fitted but the manifold kept cracking so impoted this cast manifold and got this turbo to fit it. as it bolted straight on already had the external gate
why dont you just run internal gate? not 'really' needed for gt28 plus it would be easier with out, it seems

hi it is a treadstone cast manifold and it was $300 & postage and a bank transfer so it cost in all $400 but then thanks to the great country we live in i then had to pay inport duty of £40 so all in all it cost me about £250 but thats stil cheaper than anything else that i found and it looks proper too its all on and running now just got to get it finally mapped and then see what happens
5 mins from int drive there is a wallmart with an ups postage shop just off the side if it just ship items back to your self as a gift
its what i didalso try a bit of indoor skydiving its just acros for wet and wild m8

Iv been looking on 034 motorsport and like the coilpack cover and they also have a very cheap intake mani ( i have a 40kg baggage limit )
