Finally got my perfomancebox through the door, and then it rained.. Bugger, waited a few days, and finally i could test some.

First attempt gave me a 0-100 km/h time of 7,5 secs.. [:@] Not excactly satisfying, but a few attempts later i got it down to 6,59 secs. A lot better, and satisfying enough to go back home.

A time of 6,5 in a stock cupra is great i think. I believe it could improve a little if the roadtemp were a bit higher.. But not by much. Maybe a flat 6,5 instead og 6,59.

0-200 km/h were 24,2 secs btw, but i only did a single run.

All happened on a closed circuit of course.

I will have it RR'ed, remapped and RR'ed again tomorrow afternoon, and will update when i have results from remap, and new acceleration results. I believe the 0-200 time will improve especially.

Don't think the update will be tomorrow though, as they have promised lots and lots of rain here in Denmark.

Out for now, but please pitch in if anyone else have some timed runs in their leon. :)

*** FIRST UPDATE ***

Quick update i know, but it was dry out this evening, so my dad (active racedriver) wanted to have a go, claiming he could do a better time than mine.. I wasn't gonna believe him, cause i just filled up the tank today.. When i drove i was at just under a quarter full.. Today was it was filled.

He managed a 6,41 which i quite impressive, and up to factory standards. With a ligther vehicle (less petrol) i think he could have managed a 6,35 or 6,3 flat.. That is quite good for a stock cupra. :D:p:D

*** SECOND UPDATE ***

Got the car remapped today, and it went from 256 hp stock, to 296 hp with the map. It got a little over 100 NM in torque as well, landing on 414 NM after remap.

It has completely transformed the car, from just a quick hatch, to an unbelivably fast BEAST! :p

The sound and pull in the car is amazing i must say.

I think i will have some new times ready in a couple of days, when i get the time for it, and the weather seems about right to go test. :)

Good luck with the RR hope you get good results. What tires are fitted to your car?

Factory fitted pirelli pzero rosso i think.. or is it nero? Im not 100% sure, but its the factory fitted pirellis, which have run 7000 km, a track day, and quite alot of spirited driving. They are still holding up good. :)

So once you kill those and fit grippier tyres you could get even better numbers!

I managed 5.9 0-60 in my standard Cupra using 2 accelarometers. The 2.5mph that is between 60mph and 100km/h difference may include a gear change which makes the figure you have about right.

You will probably find 0-100km/h does not change much when remapped as wheelspin will be the prevailing factor due to higher torque :)

That sounds about right.. I have to go into 3rd gear to reach 100 km/h.

But damn, just got it remapped today, and it really transforms the car. It is such a beast now, and im sure i will be able to improve the 0-100 time, and especially the 0-200 time. :)
