Hiding an amp

Has anyone found a good place to hide an amp in the Leon, I need the full boot space and making a custum sub enclusure that fits in the spare wheel instead of the toolkit. Will one fit under the front seats?

Heat dissipation could be a problem with under the front seats as heat rising would rise straight into the seat base. Back of the back seats? Or if you pull back the carpet on the left of the boot side, you will find a polysterene block, remove this and you might have room to do something there?

why not do a full false floor to take into account the sub and amp, that way you only lose about of the height rather than floor area if you like, you could always remove it if worse come to worse.

Cheers for that tip Danny - I've been thinking about mounting my amp on the left side somewhere, haven't got around to pulling the carpet off yet.

not at all it all helps us, I will check the size but the amp I've got is huge.

don't fancy making a false floor as it will still take up some height of the boot and only the other day I had trouble fitting 2 suitcases in the boot taking the parents to the airport and have to do a few more runs this year.
