Hi there, My leon 150 had a value drop a few weeks back and it resulted in a new cam as well as having the head skimmed and all the valves were changed while it was apart.

Since i got it back everytime i start it up its been smoking white, and yesterday i checked my oil and in 6 weeks its managed to nearly burn all of it! It was at the minimum!

Anyway taken it back to garage and he thinks it will be the seals on my turbo meaning i will need a recon one, does anyone know how much this would be?

Cheers, Dave

If it's just the oil seals, send the turbo off for hybrid and get it remapped to suit - seeing as you've already had other components replaced? New turbo would probably be around the £700 mark, a recon / service on yours probably around £300ish depending on what else has gone and a hybrid one .... probably around £500ish plus whatever the remap / fitting costs :)
