remap??

i have a mk4 seat ibiza fr PD130 and was thinking of doing a stage 1 remap on it but who should i go through? is it safe? and is it worth it?

i got a stage 1 remap, had it on for 2.5 years, no problems!
they are fairly safe, depends how good your turbo is to start with i suppose

with regards to who to get it done, where abouts are you? are you willing to travel?

Well there are a few companies who will travel out to you, CCTuning being just one.
Custom Code now have other branches around the UK i believe.

My PD130 FR has been remapped by custom code and i have not had a problem.

welli have on "07" with 37,000 on the clock so my turbo should be all good, so for a stage one would i be looking around the 170bhp-190bhp?? and how much does it change the driveing experience? ive also heard you have to up-rate the intercooler hoses for something a bit stronger is that true? and also is there any other worth while mods to do??

not worth doing on a non turbo small petrol engine.

the gains on a 1.4 petrol would be very minimal and not noticable.......you'd be dissappointed.
