Was filling up and an Audi A5 was at the opposite pump. My attenton was drawn to the 5 spoke rims with the split at the end of the spoke if that makes sense. They're in that anthracite grey colour. Got me thinking, 1) would they fit my k1? 2) can anyone do a retrofit pic for me?

What do people think?

Not mine but saw it on the "wheels" thread in Leon Mk2.

That's not a bad price and they come with Tyres. Will have to wait about a month but think it's gonna have to be lol

I like the multispokes. But don't think they would look any good. Is a little while off yet. I'll hav a good think lol

i dont thinkg the genuine rims off a A5 will fit... offsets and width might be completely wrong. The ebay reps will fit tho.......

A caution about replica wheels...

I bought a set of Golf Gti Monza replicas in 18" and one of them was porous, i.e. it leaked air and the tyre kept going down. I took it back to MERSEYSPEED and fair play to them , they replaced it without hesitation.

Replicas do also tend to be very HEAVY compared to an EOM alloy wheel.

You only get what you pay for...the wheels I bought were £400 a set, where a genuine BBS Monza Alloy comes from VW at £306 each...

Sorry for the delay - I have been away on business travels.

I didn't think it looked right. It might have been better with the Genuine Monza BBS silver diamond cut / anthracite inserts (But they are £306 each!).

The car seem much more right to me when I got the Cupra R Potenza alloys instead:

I love those Potenza alloys. I want to get some from my FR550. If you ever want to sell them, please give me a shout:)
