I've seen before and after dynos from a pretty heavily modded hybrid PD running around 225bhp 360lbft without WMI and with WMI although the peak values didn't go up (still 225bhp 360lbft) the curves across the whole rev range went up by around 10bhp & 20lbft (all the way across) which in real life on the road terms is a really good increase and definitely something that wil be noticed.
The before and after plots were done on the same dyno on the same day and come from a trusted source.
As with all things 'tuning' it ain't just about a peak figure on a piece of paper....
Hi Ryan - did you ever get around to fitting your kit?
Guys I've tried WMI and with even 50/50 mix it made very little differences as stated above. The meth will actually increase cylinder pressures so you need to careful on how much you inject etc. I also spent some time on moving the map sensor so that the ecu would see the lower temps etc.
As for "mapping" in the wmi - what does this actually mean? most tuned diesel I've seen are already over fuelling so injecting more fuel isnt going to
help anything.
Its the main reason why i removed the kit from my car running 2.5bar boost on 19:1 cr and then injecting meth will result in tears.
I'd recommend buying a decent intercooler.
Cheers
