Not sure mate all I know is it's 3/4 size of standard plate
Looks better with out the gb bit on the side tbh , but still loads better than the standard size

Looks great! I was looking to get a smaller one for the front of mine when I had my new plates made up a while back, but wasn't sure how the plod would feel about it. Take it you've not had any issues yet?
40cm by 8cm I have had one 3/4 from fancy plate hard back one stick on one and now I have a magnetic one from e bay which I have yet to fit , eBay is the cheapest place fancy plates work out to be about 17 quid eBay is about 6 -10 quid
Nice one, cheers for that! You ever had any issues from the plod then...? Mine aren't 'standard' at the moment, using motorbike sized letters instead of the normal one's, and I've not been stopped yet but just wondered how much hassle people have had with the smaller plates as obviouslly that catches thier eye more!
Had 2 fines 30 quid each that was at a huge cruise where they was looking at pulling every one I don't go to them any more so touch wood it's all been ok . Mines on the side as well at the min
I was caught loads like that, going in and out of VW shows a few years back, while I had German style plates on various Golfs! F

Lol just get normal font no boarder you should be ok , I kept mine plane and looking as normal as poss

Nice, i do have small plates for mine, fully legal just enough room around the edges, but i have the surrounds on screwed to the bumper

i had one of these plates on the car

and they took pictures of my car. then said that if i was caught with them again that it would be another fine and the dvla would be notified. then if caught a 3rd time the dvla can revoke your vehicle registration cos you don't own that, the dvla does. meaning your car needs to go off the road and you need to get it re-registered, which can take upto 9months, and a maximum fine of £1000
i'm not taking my chances even though they look so much better than standard plates on the front
