"3071" regardless the turbo will go in my car someday! best of luck with yours...everything looks exactly spot on - however with that much money I would of chose the Audi because of the quatto drive system. but this is personal preference and I am still very jealous (of course)

I have really thought about going for Haldex S3 , just switching cars.

however after driving some , the audi haldex 4x4 is not a really good drive and losses a ton of power in the way.

although i do admit getting all that power down on a fwd will be hard. some interesting bits are coming .

Time for an update

The engine is complete and on its way to Israel

Here are some Pics from the engine build:

Overall , just your standard TFSI :)

Following batch of updates will come during next week when the car is taken out of storage and prep work is beginning along with lots of interesting parts to be installed.
(and I do apologize in advance that the pics will be nothing like what Arin@APR takes)

Another Detailed Pic of the head top view

Love what your doing to the Cupra but that is quite a confusing comment saying your losing a ton of power through the quattro but you'll be losing a lot more due to fwd spinning away the power.

I know which one id chose to be loosing the power through and it aint the front wheels :D

My Quattro Sport TT (the "lightweight" edition) was probably the worst handling car I have ever driven. Yes you could launch it great in a straight line (0-60 in 5.4 seconds), but it understeered so badly, it was unbearable.

My Cupra handles 1000x better than my TT did, I'm not sure the Quattro/Haldex system is all it's cracked up to be. I would have to be seriously impressed on a test drive to buy another I know that!

Did I read that right, you have been limited to taking 10 photos!?!? Christ anybody think this is next years F1 engine!!! APR's marketing team can be such tits sometimes...

Oops pardon me if that's what you meant!
You may have noticed that I'm a little quick to criticise APR. It's only because my opinion of them was formed after reading many threads on VWVortex that have not won them any fans...

I can confirm that one. Can feel as slow as anything once rolling, remap has helped on mine but I still have my moments where I am thinking "come on!"

well i defenitly meant i cant post more than 10 pics in one post
all of the pics of the engine were taken by arin@apr since the engine is not here yet

So you have no personal experience of APR ??

Dont take this the wrong way mate but you've been pretty hot on criticising this guys build from the first posts you made on the subject.

He's just trying to show the rest of us what he has chosen to do with his car and although i agree everyone is free to express their opinions on what he is doing and ask questions is there really any need to be so negative?

If the guy can afford to spend the money on his car then he is free to choose who he wants to carry out the work... and apply the mods to the car of his choice... its pretty obvious from his first post that he has spent some time researching his options and knows what he is trying to achieve from the build.
