ive just recently fitted a 6000k 50w kit on mine with smoked headlights and they were ok took the tinting spray off today with some nail polish remover and WOW they are great, as stated before the only problem now is "high beam" aint so high anymore lol looky likey im gonna have to upgrade the mains now :D

I think i might get ma self this kit :) is it easy to fit?? Whats involved with fitting them? Thanks

They couldn't be easier. Drill 25mm hole in light cover to all new
Cables in the casing. Unplug old
Bulb, plug hid cables into original bulb plug, fit new bulbs, cable tie the Ballests somewhere and ya done! It's that simple.

What you thinking of going for?

I defo want to improve my high beam. I will try and do some comparison shots for everyone. With and without high beam.

Ive looked on that ebay listing you posted, and that guy isnt selling any H7 kits anymore, can that kit be bought from anywhere else? and dont quite understand where I have to drill the holes? lol

yeah looks identical..

Although the ones pictured in the advert that I purchased was not what turned up. My Ballast are smaller and metal.

Mine were £38 :)

My pal came round a the weekend. He's just fitted some to his freelander.. he was like oooh yours look better than mine, he like the metal sealed Ballasts, and mine were the slim lines version. He said I expect they were expensive. I said yeah not too bad, he replied saying his were £130!!!! he nearly cried when I told him what mine were.

i have hids in both dips and high beams.. they are great!!! almost like driving in daylight.. i live in the country do and would be using them a lot... maybe if you were doing a lot of town driving they would not be used as much.. i would recommend getting slim ballest ones do.. very easy to hide these!!

i think im gonna go for the slim 50w 6000k kit from hids direct for £75, the slim ballasts model is only a tenner more than the normal sized ballast, i just think it'll be easier to hide them

I've got the chunky ones and have hidden them both with no problems at all! Drivers side is the hardest to hide, I put mine behind the washer bottle!
