Sorry guys, i know this must of been asked a few times before, but i've done the old search thing and can't really find the answer i'm after, or if i have found it....i don't understand lol

i'm looking at this clicky and was wondering, what's the benefits i'm likely to see from swapping over to it? I've got a FR 170 PD.....and i'm a bit of a n000000b when it comes to performance parts, upgrades etc lol

TIA

Nick.

Increased throttle response and slighty quicker turbo spool, you will get small bhp and torque gains aswell but im not sure how good the standard intake is on your car.

Plus you wont have to change the filter again at service time, as you can just clean it.

No gains what so ever. Stage 2 i lost both power and torque on back to back runs with standard and green cotton panel filter, also have done some logs and there is a loss throughout the rev range, the only tiny increase is at the bottom of the rev range and does not last.

When I was getting my Rev D DV and cam follower done today the guy said panel filters are a waste of time. Stick to the original filter was his advice.

well, you guys have saved me some money :) lol

thanks guys, will just bight the bullet and speak to the nice people at Awesome GTi about a Re-Map :)

Awesome are REVO Dealers, REVO DONT do a Remap for the PD170

Awesome used to offer Custom Diesel Maps but not sure if they do now

really? i thought they did? or did they used to and stop doing it?

Means i'm going to have to find somewhere else around preston/manc area to do it now...although need to save the pennies first!

They used to offer The DPF Delete but decided to stop offering it!

Contact Al or Mike on here they might still do custom maps

Who changed your cam follower somebody local ?

Fairly local, they were over Kidderminster way. DG Autotech. Really good guys, friendly and know their stuff. They have a website so have a look. Would recommend them. I got the Rev D and cam follower from Sere Motors and was just labour for them. :)
