:-o

Gloss black vinyl it is (for me) then.

Me too i think. I'm gettin a set of gloss mirror caps, so it'll tie in well.

The £100.00 is a rough estimate... if you take into account buying new pillars at £12-£18 each, then getting them sanded down painted and fitted i'd say you'll be close to it...

My main idea was to cover my wing mirror covers in the carbon vinyl, then lacquering over the top to remove the textured feel of the vinyl.

I think that was my idea too, and I might know how to get the right result... [B)]

Either that or gloss black vinyl.

I think the gloss black will be done for starters anyway, as it's cost effective.. then look at the carbon...

I considered the black vinyl after I saw scott's, however wouldn't it be really prone to marking/scratching? The 3M di-nov carbon vinyl is very hard wearing IMO.

you would think that.. but to be fair, I have vinyl on my front lip, and behind the number plate.. been on for about 6/8 months now and theres hardly a scratch on that.. And i'd say the front of the car would be more likely to do so...
