in town they are just pointless but as SC16V said i dont look at my car when im driving so it dont bother me BUT when ur caining up a mountain pass in the dark in italy and you come to a hairpin turn.....those wee fogs come into their own as ur head lights are shining off a sheer drop but the wee fog is illuminating just enough road for you to take the turn sweetly and speed up having epic amounts of fun

That wasn't needed to be honest, its so funny and yet stupid how much people get annoyed by these because they have to see them. I like them, i find them useful when i'm reversing and the fogs come on. Only see them in reflections.
Had people tell me one of my fogs is out, but they have no idea what cornering lights are when i tell them.
Couldn't be bothered to read the rest of that thread on pistonheads, they all seem to be getting pretty hot and bothered about it lol.
Saw a car earlier this evening waiting to turn right, it had cornering fogs and tbh, it did look odd. Really can't see the point of getting angry or bitching about them, they are a feature of certain cars. If you like them keep them, if not get them turned off, simples

This is what I thought I was getting:
I could see the point if they actually did that. But as I never manoeuvre and park in total darkness just switching on one fog light is of no use. I've never seen any other car doing it and no-one has commented on seeing mine. But it's not worth paying a dealer to have the function switched off.
