Plus you don't need to strip it bare and the buzz that easily acheivable sub 7 second 0-100mph gives, with the front wheel hovering just above the deck, is better than anything this side of Vettel's Red Bull!

I think a proper race spec go kart which revs up to 16000rpm would deffo give the bike a run for its money!

Mate you did the right thing leaving early I was stuck there for fookin hours tryin to get out. Never going pod again when a show is on! And I broke something on one of my runs, will have to get AMD to look at it when they fix my blowing milltek downpipe

Yeah, I noticed the queue was building minute by minute, so stuck my car nearer the gate. Still took me an hour to get on the main road though (and that included a bit of cheating via some serious off roading )
How did you last run go (or did you abort it after the malfunction )

Puzzles me a bit, but I wonder how mine made it comfortably in to the 115's being manual and all.

Different track, more mods, lighter car, could be many things mate.. Although you and Pat were both Stage 2+, you are at two opposite ends of the scale really. Your's had just about every mod available, plus all the lightening efforts, where as Pat's (apart from removing the rear seats) is a fairly basic Stage 2+ AFAIK like mine (stock FMIC too).. The other Red Stage 2+ K1 was doing 111mph terminals though..
Real shame that neither of us could run on the same day at the same place.. Doesn't help that we are a gazillion miles away from each other though I suppose..

The best other two wheel drive manual 2.0TFSi on a K04 turbo ET wise was Owen @ 112mph on the same day I cracked the 115mph.

It sucks being this far North as we miss out on all sorts of stuff you guys take for granted down south

My term speeds yesterday where alot slower than the last time I went pod with you even though I have more mods, wonder if its cause of the knackered down pipe knuckle getting worse, cause when I last got the car vboxed the figures show that the car flys.

Even with a **** launch which admittedly I bogged down on all runs I would have thought I would be getting 12.3s and about 117mph.

Next time I go I will have to try jonnyc and TTshop style launches of over 5k instead of my 4! Both of those cars have needed new clutches though apparently!

Seriously though, when you run last time (12.6 @ 116mph IIRC) you were on your todd. So a 12.5 2 up, with a crap launch is hardly shabby mate..
Not suprised both those TT's need clutches, they're hardly used to nip down the shops in.. Fook knows what a Stage 2, S-Tronic TTRS would do the 1/4 in with launch control.. Will be awesome..

There you go then.. Rich's car makes about 20-30bhp more on Revo software compared to his old APR and will be the first to tell you which produces more power..
He did run at Pod last Oct when Revo, but the track was a joke that day and I think he struggled to get below 14..

I meant Revo being superior to GIAC Extreme mate.. I'll get my coat..

Just dug out the paperwork, 60ft time was 2.4 secs, A Speed of 109.8 and a time of 13.8.

3/4 tank of fuel, full road trim yada yada yada

Yeah I need to go without barbs one day but she always wants to come along! Suppose I will just have to sneak off one day without telling her.

My mate wayne should be picking up his 996 Turbo this sat hopefully, and he should be mapping it asap as he wants to beat me lol so will probably go pod again soon on a quieter day to see what we can do. Hopefully you can make it down in the 135i aswell, see what it can do down the strip

Have you seen the video of the RS3? I so badly want a s-tronic TTRS now! I might have to do the switch once mine starts getting tatty from too much abuse and get a blue one like I always wanted!
