LCR Rear wheel camber

Does anyone know what the rear wheel camber setting is for the rear wheels on an LCR?

Just my rear tyres are showing threads on the inside edge and the outside edge look brand new... Its possible a previous owner has decided to be a complete muppet and put some shims on there to get ridiculous negative camber

Some better photos to try to show the rear wheel camber:

I'll get some better ones with the shot tyres (not driving it until new tyres are put on)

A colleague is going to bring his camber gauge into work tomorrow so we can check the camber value and we'll try to see if we can see if there's been shims put on the rear axles.

Cheers.

Looks normal to me, definitely not anything "ridiciulous".

It's not quite running like this:

Doesn't sound quite right for them to be that worn on the inside with nothing on the outside though!

The thing that immediately sprang to mind was that it had been lowered a lot, but the pics dont seem to suggest that.

ive just had mine done, and found the rear axle is bent on the passinger side rear
as far as i know, the camber on the rear is fixed.

4 wheel alinment will tell whats what, could even be wrong tyre presure

Maybe the previous owner had worn the inside of the tyres whilst they were on the front of the car and then stuck em on the rear of the car part worn????

I've got a similar problem on my rear Driver side wheel. I had a 4 wheel alignment check and they said the rear axle needs replacing.

Does anyone know if this is a big job or not?

ive just brought a rear axle, i personally think the hardest part is jacking the rear end up while taking the axle off.

ive got to change the bushes before i fit mine
but really need a bushe fitting tool

Poly bushes are easy to fit and won't wear out.

I would be very surprised though if Seat had really setup the rear wheels at such a harsh angle as these tyres were brand new last year and have only just covered 10k; surely that's not right?

Here's some photos of the tyres that I took on my phone just leaving work today (not the best quality)...

What I find strange is that the outside edges are nearly perfect and the inside edges are totally bald... even the wear markers in the middle of the tyre indicate a couple of mm of tread left.

Does this wear look normal for an LCR? Going to get my mates Camber guage on the wheels tomorrow and check the actual camber setting.

Also I doubt the axle is gone as I'd expect to see different wear patterns on either side but the wear is identical on both sides!

Just checked and the rear wheel camber is -2.7 degrees on both sides; hardly surprising considering the state of the rear tyres!

When I've got time I'll have to get under and check for shims, other than that I can't see an explanation to how its got so out unless some previous owner has launched it off a hump/jump and landed hard on the rear bending both sides the exact same amount :(

Did you ever find out what caused the negative settings?
