Cupra - Front Suspension - Camber Bolts?

During my recent Clutch fit, the garage removed the 2 bolts at the bottom of both dampers,
(I believe these are the 'Camber' bolts?),
So when I picked the car up the car pulled like a pig to the right..
As the bolts on the N/S damper had the wheel tilted right in.

Does anybody know where the correct postion of these 2 bolts should be?

Or does it need a 'professional' alignment?

Yeah, that's what I thought..

Anyone know roughly where they should be, so it's at least driveable..?!

can you not get a rough idea from the opposite side for now?

So far as I can tell they took both sides off..

The O/S looks slightly better than the N/S but obviously neither are 'correct'..

Does anyone have a photo?

The only way to roughly do it is put it in a position and see if the face of the wheel when down on its feet are vertical.

But definitely get it checked as soon as or you will be forking out for new tyres also.

dont know if there visable on yours, But if a bolts taken off it should shown a clean mark, where no dirt or rust has buit up, if it has try and line the bolt up with that and that should be about right to what it was but then get it aligned.

Yeah, have a new set of T1-R's ready to go on, don't want to be ruining them..

Can't see any visible marks where the bolts were..

In terms of Alignment can a simple 4 wheel laser aligner do this..?

Or does it need full on computer wired alignment..?

the cmaber alignment at a garage isnt usually done by laser, its basically a very acurate spirit level!

you can do your camber yourself roughly with a spirit level! if you check the lever of where it is when the wheels are off the ground and set the bolts tight, then lower it and then do the same with the spirit level again, to see the relation between in air and ground!

Then you have a benchmark to adjust from, or use and iphone as ilevel, ibubble, as it gives degree of camber!

very rough obviously, it needs doing properly!
