Hi guys,

possibly need a new driver side front wheel bearing on my 54 plate TDI Cupra.....anyone know what sort of cash we are talking here?
Gotta start saving up (apparently there was a bit of play in it when i had a spring replaced recently).

i paid 140 for part & labour when i had drivers side done
oem part; local garage labour

How much?? Any idea what the bearing cost because that price is day light robbery. I wouldn't expect the bearing to be any more than £30 at most and 30 minutes to fit max.

Mine was £140 fitted too, seem like the going rate as I rang around a few places. That's a VAG part too.

£65 each? is that front or rear? I just £65 for two fronts from Sere Mototrs off here who is a Seat dealer. Then paid a local mechanic £40 to fit both

Maybe it was £65 for both then lol. I got them from Sere too. Could have sworn they were more expensive than that tho

Edit: just checked, they were 64.50 each plus £5 each for new hub nuts
