Nooo i mean buy a crappy one to get the 16v engine from to fit into kez's. Get one for 500, sell the interior for £150 wheels for £100 and you've got a £250 engine. And you'd have a load of other parts you could sell on.

If you do decide to do an engine swap, a mate of mine is after an abf to be rebuilt into a 2.2 race turbo, so as long ad there is nothing majorly broken and it just needs a rebuild, i might be intetested...

nope i rang them at 2 and they hadnt had chance to have a look at her , they said they would ring when they had looked but no phone call

well she is back and yup it looks like the piston rings its going to cost to much to get sorted so it looks like the doner option will be the best way to go ,

so keep your eyes and ears peeled for me guys

i would rather get one that i can see working too as i cant be done with getting around

as long as i keep a eye on the oil level at least i can still drive her for now untill i find the right doner

yea its when u boot it she smoke's really bad , it is there whilst normal driving but not too bad i cant really do any more damage can i as long as i keep a eye on the oil level
