How much power are you looking for? Surely you don't have far to go before you will be bending rods?

There's one lad here running around 320 on standard internals, clutch, gearbox.

AUQ Engine has decent pistons

Pretty sure pats running 320ftlb on stanfmdard internals ;) but could be wrong think you need all new mapping tho mo as you'll be changing injectors maf etc and adjusting boost So pretty sure it's a new map if your only looking for 300bhp then why not wait untill bill has a price for the new hybrid?

Its not the pistons i would be worried about. I have heard of people bending non forged rods at much less power. But i don't know the full ins and outs of there scenarios, may have been poorly maintained, or set up incorrectly.

If the map was to aggressive and your planted it a low revs you will bend a rod but at the higher revs it should be ok I've seen LCR rods bend on a little over 320 ftlb but I suppose its car dependent as I said I fairly sure pats LC is on standard internals with 320 bhp and 320 ftlb it's got and IHI BT set up ;)

K03S Hybrid ? I thought they topped out at 260-280, I've seen the JBS set-up, it looks and sounds good on paper, but I'm not too sure about it.

What sort of Bhp you going for Sam?

Hmmmmm.........

I've read it all from start to finish, it sounds good but it's not really complete tried and tested is it, also no indication of price(s) for supplied and fitted or provided and fitted.

Really? i dint think the LC internals were good for anything near 300ft/lbs.

why? some LC have the same 20mm wrist pin like the LCR, not all have the small 19mm wrist pin.
so if the LC is one with 20mm wrist pin the only diffense is the LCR is running 9.3:1 compression and the LC is running 9.5:1

Yeah but it has to be cheaper then a BT by a reasonable amount, if it's like 500-1K difference then it's probably a better idea to go BT.

We need prices!
