Na wasn't me man, mines pretty easy to notice if it's parked because I have black R badges instead of red ones. Timing might be a bit tight tomorrow as I expect to be at work until about 7. How long do you guys stay out?

i will only be out for an hour or so, i've missed the last couple of meets due to the state my car has been in, it was bad enough when it was just odd shades of yellow but covered in primer and keyed up for paint, not a good look at a meet lol
i need to finish some polishing and buffing as im going away on saterday and want it clean and smooth before i go, im working till 5 every day so i only get a couple of hours

so....
a few weeks have passed and it seems i have done nothing to the car.....errrrmmmmm nah i have done a little bit

i decided i didnt like the B post yellow any more and i had a bit of time to make some thing so did this...

htc160611012.jpg

it took me about 30 mins in all as it was 1 large bit of wrap, i still need to tidy the bit inside the door where it wraps round but not a big deal yet as still finishing off other bits,

also i took delivery of this little box of joys
htc160611015.jpg

YES that is a paint roller under it, yes it is a huge cooler, and yes it was a pain in the back side to fit...

htc160611024.jpg

as you can see, the FMIC dwaffs one of the oem coolers...
i also whilst i had the front off fitted an elephant trunk

htc160611025.jpg

the trunk was to replace the oem air feed
htc160611026.jpg

htc160611028.jpg

after only 3.5 hours it was looking like this

htc160611029.jpg

the air feed sat up behind where the fog light once was last year and i didnt have to remove any bits from the bumper for the cooler

i have also got a set of custom fitted sun shades for the boot and side windows (so the sun dont get in the kids eyes of course) and it looks more like factory extras so i like a bit more!!!!!!!

NICE!! Hows it running with this? any major difference?

i would say its getting better, i didnt notice an instant diffrence but its deffo growing and getting better mate
BUT i think i may have a leak some where, its just finding the turd!!!

Well impressed with the paint job awesome mate.

thank you dude
i cant wait to have the time to finish it off!!, it still needs wet flatting and buffing, still have a couple of runs here and there and it has 3 battle scars already, had a kid catch it on her bike, had some one bump the rear bumper in asda and i cought the front bumper with the edge of the polisher, went straight to plastic... wasnt happy with that one!!!!

there is a diffrent meaning to the car now though as its all being done by me or very close people to me, the car means a lot to me now and i have got the bug back, some ppl know i seemed to have lost it not so long ago... im back, and better than it was before, the mrs hates it though lol

little updat.
i think i have sorted a few problems, a few may have read i had a boost leak some where and also that i had a bit of a flat spot from around 100mph but then it came back...
well i got some vac pipe and also a set of these in black.
dvpipe.jpg

N75pipe.jpg

i fitted them last night along with a better condition OEM turbo to chargepipe elbow, a couple of the vac pipes and re fitted the tip AGAIN...
WOW
i dont think i have a leak in the FMIC i think it was one of the boost pipes...
the DV sounds diffrent, it is going like a freaking train, i took it for a quick spin late last night and out ran 2 cars who had gone for it at a set of light behind me, i was at the next lights...
they was at around 50mph and i was standing still and booted it when they was around 2 car lengh behind me... i out dragged them to 100 LOL
HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY

GET A SET OF THE PIPES!!! YOU NEED THEM IN YOUR LIFE
and fix all the boost leaks, its just better with out them LOL

will my shite luck end?????
i knew i had a little boost leak in the intercooler set up, well I FOUND IT with the help of Sam (pyro) and Chris (cant remember his name on here lol)....
after fitting a set of springs (pics to come of the finished item) and finding out that i was missing a coil out of one of the rear springs (at least i know why it rubbed that side with any weight over it) one of the guys at the garge felt hot air against his leg LOL
well a little 2" split on the bend of a pipe seemed to be causeing the problems, thankfully another Sam has the pipe i need and is sending it over to me (he is a top top man and i love him - in a non gay homo way) so the car has now been bodged together using a 45 degree bend to replace the 90 that was split, a few pipes juggled about and its the temp fix done!!!
on a plus the springs have made the car feel better but need it to settle a bit before i can take the next pic - a HUGE thank you to all the guys involved yesterday mosty to Sam B, Sam M and Chris
