Umm things have gone a little wrong. Was waiting for my interior paint to be finished before attatching the re-upholstery and then buttons and little bits of trim etc but then had the car back a couple of days and found 3 air bubbles the size of a pound coin on the dash which have now split. Also the gloss paint on the exterior plastics has sank slightly revealing the pattern underneath and on the grille is uneven. Not happy. Then whilst trying to fit the door cards realised they had cut off the tabs that secure it!!!! And the stitching dosent follow the line I wanted all the way.

Bottom line, bodyshop need the car from mon-fri and also the upholstery place. Only 1 week to inters though

Looks like I'll be coming to inters with a incomplete car, bits of trim missing etc


Also I'll be leaving from cardiff now because I'll be leaving the car with the upholstery place this week. So much effort and time has gone into this and I've been let down by proffessionals that should know better. Had enough

Aw no, sorry to hear that lucifer. Bit stupid of them to cut off the tabs for the door cards and the air bubbles!

You would of thought these places would check it before leaving.

Hope you're happy with it when it is done though.

Having said this, the car does look good, even with these problems, its only if you really look you can see them. So ull be able to see what it will look like, as long as you dont get too close!
