Who uses the drop downs when selecting the actual car, and who does it with the reg number... Result can be quite surprising lol
Just got insured on mine for £620.00![]()
I also found that all the big players in the insurance game all share some vehicle database. Some smaller ones also the quote was identical for the cupra and the boc. The dilemma is do u play the dafty and use the reg number or do you come clean and pay more? LOL
I suppose if they are being arsey they could try and not pay out for an accident because they can say your insuring it as the wrong car, even though its registered on the systems as a Cupra.
I'm sure i read here a while ago about somebody getting pulled by the Police and they had the same problem, the police where saying why is our system saying its a Cupra when it says Bocanegra on the back.
People keep saying that they have the Cupras registered as the wrong insurance group as well. Is that really the case? I'm sure they would of noticed by now..
Well I'm 23 and i'll have 3 NCB and 3 years driving in Jan. Test quotes for that time are:
Cupra with Admiral £900. Although changing to a Boc with Admiral jumps up to £1700! :/
Cheapest FR quote was about £1100 - Can't remember who with.
Boc £1100-£1200 with Sainsburys.
lol its a nightmare eh? I suppose i should be thankful of my cheapest quote with Tesco of £272. Thats protected with legal cover and a £100 vol xs. Get a hire car also.
I have a 59 plate Boc. Im 20, with 1 years no claims (would have three but was a named driver and they didnt let me use them as i changed company), 3 years driving experience.. Not sure what the annual premium is cos I just swapped the cars over on the policy. I used to have a 1.4tdi Polo (2007) and that was £900 for the year.. Five months in the the policy i got my Boc so called up to put the Boc on and take the Polo off and they actually REFUNDED me £27, not a lot i know but still a refund.. Oh and im with Elephant btw.
