Yep, the V5 was an early turn of the century car so would fit fine. I don't know whether they're electric seats, if they are then you just need to supply them with 12 volts to get them working.

I have heard of people going off the back of the cigarette lighter in the centre console, but I'd be worried about overloading that. I'd be tempted to add another fused feed and do the job properly, but that's a bit more work.

Do an internet search, there's a few posts on VW and Audi forums on how they've done the seat swap and where they've taken their power from.
