kat i wish i took your approach to modding. i would have saved so much money. my next car will look oem.

It's just my opinion on LCRs, I think they look great even as standard. I am perfectly happy with how mine looks the way it is now :)

When are you thinking about an FMIC Kat?

Just another option to consider when you make your choice: http://seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=325804

Tom it will be maybe in two years time, so a while yet! If a cheap one comes up then I may go for it, but will see.

Thanks for the link :D

Im pretty sure he was only pulling your leg lol. Ain't you 2 a couple???

Haha dude u crack me up

Imagine having Kat as your misses she'd drive you crazy ;-) she dosent even have a LCR she just pretends to to lure young guys like me in. Haha I jest

Kat knows I'm always gonna wind her up about staying oem but it is tidy as tho. Wish I cld stay oem but I'm an attention seeker with my stupid shiny look at me wheels and wooshy suspension

Hoi!!! I didn't lure you in you doosh! Think you know you were the one that did all the luring... :D

Yeah, you do wind me up something awful Derek! Oh, and remember, bags are for groceries ;)

On a happier note, got my insurance renewal quote in for the 1st January, £752, not too shabby for a 23 year old female! :)

Funnily enough I got my renewal through yesterday, £500 on the nose :D

I thought £752 was petty decent for a 23 year old female!

Very nice Kat...kinda looks similar! And I to am with you on OEM except for the lowering ;)

Yeah, I love the look of the LCR, with just a few subtle changes it's perfect. Good to hear of someone with the same views!

2 years for an FMIC?!

Come on Kat you can do better than that, summer is nearly here lol

 Tom I've spent far too much lately! But hey, never say never, I have my Rav4 to sell after winter, along with a private plate (R88 AFC ) so the money might burn a little in my pocket!

Hello, thanks for the nice comment. Don't give up hope! i actually had no intensions of buying a LCR so soon. I had my 53 plate Flash Red LC, which I was perfectly happy with. Browsing through pistonheads.com I came across Foxy (in Leeds!) and I just had to have it. Fair enough it wasnt perfect condition, but by spending a couple of thousand on her, I honestly think I could have one ofd the tidiest, cleanest examples out there :)
The right car will pop up when you least expect it! Might see you out and about, or you can maybe come along to an Aberdeen meet in summer!

Get the FMIC in for next summer Kat, will be worth it when those ambient temps creep up and you come up against something equally as quick.. ;)

Time will tell! ;)

Now that's a big claim :)

It may well be a big claim, but I recon I'm still up to it! The car was a mess when I bought it, Iv made it what it is today, so I'm proud of it being so tidy and fresh looking :)

Thank you :) Yeah, come along to a meet, we don't bite!

 There's another one?! God damn, I've got competition! Better make sure mine is the cleanest then :D

I don't know of any other red opnes other than an 05 plate one, but, em... It's not that great... lol. Bit if a wreck, no splitter, the door bump strips have come off... Poor thing :(

Read through this whole thread the other day. Lovely looking example. Great attention to detail that pays off. She'll be nippy enough I bet!

The whole thing?! Bravo my man! :1st: There's a lot of crap in here. Yeah, Im a bit much when it comes to attention to detail... its 246bhp with 286lb/ft, so feels fast but lacks a bit in the bhp side of it. Looking to change that soon though ;)

Managed to get a couple pics of my refurbished brembos, even though Im embarassed about the alloys... :(

My OEM alloys currently have no tyres on them and are awaiting to be dropped off at PPS Coatings, for a little tlc.
The wheels were refurbished when I bought the car, but it seems the fronts were just filled and painted, as flaking has began where old paint meets new paint. me being the perfectionist that I am, it's getting sorted asap.

Oh, and my Christmas present from my boyfriend :D Apparently Im the easiest girl ever to buy presents for, anything car related is a winner.

Pretty much the whole thing - might've skipped a couple of pages here and there!
Not often you here a woman say 246bhp isn't enough! Ace!
