FR front bumper insert

Hi guys,

I have a red fr and noticed some people have painted the lower middle part of the front bumper (under the grill) black... Looks good mind

Does this bit pop out or is it a bumper off and mask off job?

If you mean part no. 23 below, it is removable on the FL model but don't think it is on the pre FL.

I actually think its 25 but I'm guessing 23 would be done also... Where'd you get that lovely parts diagram from?

No.25 is 'Carrier for Drive Train Underbody Guard'.

I take it you were originally referring to painting the lip across the bottom of the air intake (as per the photo). If that's the case then no, it doesn't remove, it's part of the bumper.
The diagram is from the ETKA parts database.

Not really. Alot just get that bumper central lip Vinyl Wrapped.

The number plate surround/mount (23), can be Vinyl Wrapped while in situ, and doesnt need to be removed first (only the number plate).

Wrapping is alot cleaner and quicker than painting too, plus you always have the option to remove the wrap, if you wanted to go back to the standard/original look (when selling the car for example).
