LCR 225 Steering wheel badge swap.

Well my latest small mod has been to my LCR 225 steering wheel, as with all things that make it onto my Cupra originally meant for the LCR i remove anything with an "R" on it so when i got the wheel i removed the badge and painted it black,

But i have found there are Cupra versions available so i put my order in with Dave at Sere and this is what i got,

No time waisted i removed the old badge, just slip a finger nail or small screw driver under the edge and gently prise the badge out and you should be left with this.

Then just press the new Cupra badge in and hay-presto the Cupra one 100% better and looks as OE as you can get.

The part number is 1M0 419 685 B price £6.22 it may seem a bit pricey for a small badge but its so worth it, nothing worse than having the "R" emblem on something that's not an LCR.

Oooo fair enough. So whats differet about the LCR 225 wheel. Got any pics of the whole wheel fitted to the car. Or is the only difference is the badge at the bottom? Cheers.

I'm gonna order one right now!! I'm going to be refurbin mine tomorrow and was wondering about the badge at the bottom as I'm also in a Cupra. Have you left all the red bits red or gone over them in black? I'm thinkin of getting rid of all the red was just wondering what this would look like if you have.

This is the 225 wheel, its thicker and has the thumb rests.

No i left the red stitching as it goes with the gear stick and hand brake gator which also have red stitching.

you've got the red tipped air vents as well!!
