1.2TSI? lovely little cars not a lot of problems. Insurance tip i have is to park it on the road as its cheaper for most than sticking it in a garage

Ill be doing quotes for 1.2, 1.2tdi; 1.2tsi, 1.6tdi 1.4. would like a diesel for her she could be doing up to 80 miles in a day or as little as 10 with work.

What trim level is the best (obviously not fr though probly be too dear!)

Is bluetooth standard with any of the trims?

Iv seen some good second hand ones with nice body kits (dealer)

Thanks again

Sport or SE trim levels are probably the best good standard spec, though I prefer the Sports seats in the Sport models. though look out for special editions like Sportrider.

Avoid MY12 models - mid 2011 onwards - a lot of cost cutting happend last year, rear speakers got the chop as did the centre rear headrest and passenger seat height adjustment.

the 1.2 TSI does some very good mpg for a petrol and imo is better than the 1.6tdi especially with the number of people on here pissed off with there tdis millage

I wouldnt let bluetooth be a winning factor in this choice tbh as it isnt very good. its nice but a parrot kit will work better and is applicable to anycar and you can even buy the seat approved one.

I agree - the Ibiza's bluetooth shouldn't be a deal breaker, if it were a Leon then factory fitted bluetooth is a great extra because you get the large MFD screen, but on the Ibiza it doesn't really add anything over the likes of a parrot kit. Infact you loose a few functions on the steering radio controls with the factory fitted bluetooth!

And the grille in the ceiling light for the bluetooth is in all but the most basic Ibizas so you can hide the mic behind there any it'll look pretty OEM!

Wouldn't bother with the entry level N/A 3-cylinder 1.2 as its underpowered and limited to the basic E and S trims. 1.2 TSI is significantly better but expensive. The mid-range 1.4 is probably the best bet, you can pick them up from arround £5k now and the SE/ Sport trim levels are well equipped with most cars having alloys, cruise, climate, fogs, aux input etc. The special editions are good too with a high level of equipment.

Also take a look at the early 1.9 TDi Sport. Was only offered for a short period but it's cheap and offers the same 105PS as the 1.2 TSi and 1.6 TDi, and no DPF.

RE Insurance there isn't a great deal between the various models. Weirdly the FR seems to come out most expensive and the Cupra the cheapest.
