Why so hard to find canbus LED for Ibiza?

Hi,
I have canbus friendly LEDs in my Leon and they work a treat, so far I have canbus LEDs in my Ibiza but only on the inner sidelight bulbs. Why is it whenever I try some in the outer sidelight bulbs I get a bulb warning? I don't understand why no "canbus friendly" bulbs work in these slots even tho they work fine in Leon.
Thanks

I dont think you can have 4 leds even when they are canbus ones. i had the same problem, i settled for two leds and blue two bulbs in the end. it probably is possible if you play around with resistors if you really wanted too, but you might not get anywhere lol.

I dont remember the name of them, but i had a bulb with some 8-10 SMD-LEDs in My sidelights. I also had leds in the interiorlights and in the numberplate light. No CANBUS-leds and no warnings.. Bought mine at a webshop for volvoparts :) But i had xenons on mine so its maybe different..

Think of it like this, if there is 1 LED on the bulb that draws 0.5 watts of power then the ECU knows how much power that 1 LED is pulling, where as you get a bulb with 8 LEDS on it, thats 4 watts of power. Enough to trick the ECU into thinking there is a proper filament bulb on there. Hope that makes a touch more sense.

I don't think 8 led's will draw that much. It's because led's are very low resistance that they bring the warning up, because they are using less power, which is why resistors have to be used to fool the canbus system.
