20vt Engine Conversion..

People do it all the time people buy a Leon cupras and try and make it look like a Cupra r
Same with audi a3 / s3
BMWs m3s list is endless

They didnt make a Cupra in jordans colour so it's not like he's trying to make a Cupra anyway

I work for GSF so I no all about garages ringing up an quoting regs but when someone ones in and says I've got a golf mk2 but it's got a vr6 in it or a metro with a lotus Elise engine in, to be honest it makes my day more exciting.

If he wants to do why should we try and stop him you don't know how many good things or bad things will happen which he will learn from

Jordan its up to you mucka do it or not I bet you've learnt and enjoy every moment of fiddling with your car so far so it's up to, if money and time family and friends don't get distrubed I'd say do it, If me and my mates didn't have cars growing up and after leaving school life wouldnt be the same lol

I'm pretty sure he wanted opinions and I gave mine, I never said he shouldn't do it I said I wouldn't do.

There's a difference between making cars look like other cars but changing everything from engine brakes suspension etc I wouldn't do personally if the car was available to buy like that!

The cars you mentioned metros with Elise engines I can see a point in that as they never made one with one in. Like I said if the 20vt was in a mk3 golf I would love to have one.

I had a 205 gti few years back and put a mi16 engine in it were others put a 1.9gti in a 1.6 don't see the point myself?!

But this is my opinion like I said and if he does decide to do it I'd like to see a readers ride as suggested in previous post.

i cant believe im reading this post haha i was tempted to put one up about myn then i saw this and was like omg.

onestly mate you and me think very alike haha ive seen it done to that one that everybodys seen thats in matt red with rear extended arches and low as f**k he just swapped the whole sub frame then ofcourse wiring and shiz.

I SAY DO IT!!! alot of people say to me whats the point in putting so much money in your first car but i dont consider it like that as im not a k**b thats not gunna crash it straight away i say if you have a car then why not do it the way YOU want to i love my car and as much as it frustates me at times i would fight tooth and nail to keep it haha

if you do do this then let me know every thing as im very interested in doing it my self
