Leon tdi 150 sudden lack of power

Hi all, noticed today that my leon tdi 150 seemed very low on power and torque. I added a k and n induction kit a couple of weeks ago and the car hasn't seemed the same since, I use to be able to pull away in 6th at 40 mph no problem because there was so much torque but now my car just judders and I have to change to 3rd, also there seems to be a tapping noise coming from under the bonnet when I'm going along, am a bit puzzled and worried tbh, all help much appreciated

Missfire perhaps? Read a few ago that the oil from K&N's etc causes the maf to go but have had it diagnosed to check if anything has flagged up?

Did you oil the k+n?

If so my guess is your MAF sensor is screwed!
Also why on earth are you pulling 6th gear at 40mph? Do you like replacing dual mass flywheels and clutches?

Chrikey ya at tickover in 6th at 40mph..
The lowest i go is normally just under 50 otherwise ya nearly stall it...

The problem is your loading the dual mass flywheel and clutch up with torque at low rpm. The flywheels aint the best (i should know) i always downshift and drive more petrol turbo-esque
