H&R Cup kit or Bilstein B12?

Hello!

buying the set for facelifted FR TDI DSG, and need help;

which set is less hard - b12 sportlines or h&r cup kit?
what is the drop difference, and is there any drive difference between them?

Personally I'd go for the Bilstein kit which is available in either a 30mm drop or a 50mm/35mm drop.

b12 pro kit is a no go for me...
i had sportlines with original FR dampers on my car, and i was not happy, thats why i want to go with whole set this time...
i am reading that cup kit is very comfortable set (or more comfortable then b12 sportlines), and thats why i dont know what to decide...

What were you finding wrong just using Sportlines?

- car was swinging front/back when stoping the car (not visible, you just felt it doing)
- not equal front/back level drop (front was down to the tyre)

whole drive seemed like the car is not compliant...

on the other side, on my pre FL FR, with just sportlines the car was one time better then with original springs...

I have the B12 Pro kit. It is good in the fact that the car doesn't squat under acceleration or braking as much, the car is far more composed. The ride on smoothish roads is perfectly acceptable but its does become slightly unstuck over bumpy country roads where it is quite harsh. The other issue is that the Pro Kit does not lower the Cupra from it standard ride height (This is probably not true on other models). I am going to see what the car is like with Michelin Pilot Supersports on and if I am not 100% happy then I will try and find a softer damper and lower springs and I don't mind sacrificing a bit of grip/handling for comfort and lower ride height. Or look for fully adjustable coilovers with progressive springs.

How about a Vogtland kit, I have this fitted to my Cupra and in summary offers a much improved ride quality and handling with a great drop in ride height for less than £400 = bargain!
