Don't see why though exactly the same apart from you can remove a chip box when you want easily.

Don't see why though exactly the same apart from you can remove a chip box when you want easily.
Remaps are normally finely tuned to the specific vehicle rather than a generic map that you receive on a box.
It would be interesting to get your car dyno'd with the chip box and compare it to mine, or someone else's, with a remap.
My box has been specifically programmed for my engine from the longest going company in Britain. £295 it cost me would be interesting like am pretty sure it would be the same results as a remap as these boxes are tested for their results of power and torque for which ever engine they are programmed for.
