Well just finished before the rain come :(

Rear door as you can see great sound proofing from the factory????

After some sound proofing

Front Door

add I thought why not do the bonnet too :)

All I can say is what a difference!! door now sound solid if that makes sense!! first trip up the road and can defo tell its a lot quieter :)

Take me about five hours in total, front doors are the hardest to do because of the window regs but overall very easy to do and cost me £55

Road noise is my biggest gripe with the car as its is shocking unless on nice new flat roads, I would seriously consider doing this but front tyres are the main culprits so would like to know where best to fit this for reducing noise that eminate from them.

I'd of thought the rears would be worse not the fronts. But if you think the fronts then I'd be doing the front wheel arch/footwell.

One thing i did notice is that if i tap the front wings they sound tinny now compared to the doors lol! Maybe worth unbolting the wings and doing them too but can see it would make any diff

You can strip the carpet in the front footwell, it might be worth putting some behind that, it may make a difference?

Well I did have a quick look at the carpet there is a very thick layer between the floor and the carpet, but yes was thinking about it, as again its very easy to take out the seats etc

Under the bonnet

I'm not too fussed about the overall noise level but i like the color of it, it would look better under the bonnet than the big black OEM matt that is pinned on.
