The CR170 is more efficient than the PD170, so how come the tax is the same? Surely it'll be in a different band? Or with it still being a 2.0 TDI with 170bhp, do they keep it in the same one?

According to the Whatcar website there is quite a bit of difference, but owning the CR I know it’s more like £130 so wont be totality correct.

Hope this helps you. :)

Just got my reminder through. £260 for 12 months for the TFSI.
Wouldn't mind so much if they used the money repairing the roads.

My Supercopa was £125 iirc, seem to think it was £120 then went up before i had chance to pay, grrrr.

I've just started looking at a replacement car and the 62 plate SEAT LEON 2.0 TDI SUPERCOPA CR FR+ I'm told is £125, bit better than the £280 it costs me at the moment.

Also, be aware that if you get one with a DSG, that pushes it into the next tax band. For the CR170, one with a manual box is in band E (currently £125) and one with a DSG box is in band F (currently £140).
