seat leon 2.0 fr tdi holding back

Hi people i'm new to this site.

I'm having trouble with my seat leon 2.0 tdi fr 170 2008 , when i put my foot down as it hits about 3 thousand revs it's holding back, but if i accelerate slowly it goes all the way, no engine managment light comes on i've had it plugged in and nothing is coming up.

The injectors have been done and it's had a service ana'll, someone has mentioned it could be fuel pump or could be dpf.

Can anyone help please

how many miles? check the fuel filter as mine was same.

just had 60k service on mine all filters changed....no hesitation it goes well now

you would have a light if was dpf

It's done 39000 miles, all the filters where done as I supplied them.

Get your turbo looked at might be the variable vains or actuator sticking. Worth a thought.

Replace fuel filter loads of crap fuel about at the mo! 3k revs under heavy loads is when fuel pump is at peak pressure. See this problem a lot at work!!

I've replaced fuel filter with the genuine one, but I'm gonna fill tank up with v-power on Monday and take it for a good run.

Are you sure the filter actually got fitted?
Have seen cars where the owner has said its had a new fuel filter fitted, but on investing it turns out the garage never bothered to fit a new filter & just told the owner they had
