Tfsi engine oil??

Can anyone tell me what is the best engine oil is to use in the TFSI engine?? Many Thanks.

5w 30 fully synthetic

page 208 of owners manual tells you what grade it needs to match which i believe is vw 501/00, vw 502/00 or vw 504/00 for the petrol engine

i only know as just topped up my oil earlier today

Its very well priced too, at least it was the last time I serviced my Gti!

Has anyone had any issue with the oil filter housing, I see theres an aftermarket aluminium version available from ECS, are they that prone to cracking?

Agreed, I'm sure Chris on the forum who tests oils will have a differing opinion but I like the Quantum stuff.
If Audi put it into 100K+ R8's and powerful RS6 avants, it's good enough for mine.
Cheap enough for 5 ltrs from TPS too
