Hi chaps,

Sorry if this has been done to death, but I'm curious, if I installed a HPFP to my Cupra, would I see noticeable power gains or would I have to go down the stage 2 route of remapping to see any noticeable gains. I'm currently running stage 1 with an ITG intake.

Thanks for your help

hey bud, as far as I was told hpfp is only needed for going stage 2+ I use to be same as you stage 1 with itg and every1 I spoke to said if your going to put a zorst on you might aswell go for hpfp and uprated fmic, so I took the jump n went straight stage 2 + and car was completely different! power gains were great and car performs so much better

You can have a stage 1+ map and that will actually be more power than stage 2

Stage 1+ fuel pump map will put out 340-350 bhp, stage 2 about 330, stage 2+ about 360

I had APR 1+ on my LCR and it ran 355bhp on APR 's rollers

AndrewJB had his LCR at stage 1+ before he went stage 2+. Have a look on his reader ride thread, I think he had it on the rolling road when he had the stage 1+ software installed.
