hi im new to this so go easy on me , im awaiting delivery of a mk3 leon se(tech pack) in monsoon grey and iv seen in numerous places that you can get videos to play through the screen, has anybody tried this and managed it if so what format does the video have to be in and what input does it play from eg. usb, aux or sd?

any help would be appreciated,

thanks in advance.

Heya! I've only tried playing actual DVD's and they seem to work fine. Only work when standstill or when travelling under 5mph for obvious safety reasons.

Hope that's a start, cheers.

Haha well mine does but I guess its because my Leon has a satnav head unit :)

I've got the Sat-Nav. Just tried to play The Croods while parked. Unable to read CD :(

Dont really know what to say sorry :( unless its something to do the the region of the dvd? I've tried a few dvd's and all worked. Sorry not sure :(

I havent tried, but what region you use? I've got DVD's region 1 and 4 and my car also has satnav and the 5.8" screen. I hope it works! it will be nice to play a movie wile parked in traffic hehehe

Happy to be corrected but why on earth would the systems in our Mk3's even have an MPEG2 decoder to watch DVD movies...
