Hi all picking up my Ibiza 1.6TDI CR Sport 60 plate tonight. Can't wait seemed very nippy and fuel seemed ok when I drove it.

Quick question my corsa d has it programmed where when I unlock the car all the lights come on.

Is this possible on my ibiza? Can't seem to find anything on it

Thanks in advance :)

And they come on when you unlock it? Cheers mate

On my corsa d they were called welcome lights. As soon as you pressed unlock the entire car lot up, useful if you were in a big car park and wanted to find your car lol.

I think you're referring to the leaving home function, it only comes with auto lights.
If you have them on the "auto" position it works just like you said, they come on when you unlock the car.

Damn don't think I've got auto lights lol. Oh well picked the car up after work and had the 20mile drive from sheffield to Barnsley and my god they're not half decent motors lol. They look the part too :)

SEAT seem a bit stingy with features on the Ibiza, I had a DS3 Dsport you got stuff like welcome and home lights as standard without needing to specify automatic lights. Same goes for USB input and Bluetooth, you just got them as standard. My 2010 FR has none of that, and they've made the equipment levels lower since then!

Yeah my corsa was one of the bottom trim levels club but you still got welcome lights, air con. This CR Sport tho is so much nicer to be fair. cruise control, alloys, tints all as standard they just forgot welcome lights hahaha

Do you get speakers for the rear passengers in the Sport? They ditched that on FR in 2011 or 2012 I think, you have to specify the bluetooth option to get rear speakers now! That seems especially tight of SEAT, even my 2005 Skoda Fabia got rear speakers as standard and SEAT are suppose to be a step up.

Perhaps they are now but my 2011 1.2 TSI in SE trim came with:-

Stop-start system
Height adjustable driver and passenger seats
Front and rear electric windows
Air-Con
Coming home headlights
ESP with XDS, hill hold control and tyre pressure monitor
Spare wheel
Stereo with 6 speakers
Alarm with interior monitoring
Cruise cotrol
Electrically folding heated door mirrors
Front fog lights with cornering function
Map reading lights
Remote audio controls
etc etc

... in fact hardly anything missing - it made the VW Polo look really stingy!

My CR Sport has got alloys, tints, spotlights, air con, volumetric alarm, steering wheel controls, folding door mirrors, height adjustable seats, electric windows, cruise control. It's got a fair few bits and pieces just missing Bluetooth but I suppose a cheap hand free wouldn't be too bad

Yeah, they've dropped a lot of standard kit in recent years. Only get XDS on top models now I think, same goes for rear electric windows. And height adjust on the passenger seat I am fairly sure is now optional on everything.

And yeah you get rear speakers for the passengers. Sound ace in the 3 door :)

Perhaps I've been spoilt by me DS3 Dsport, only thing that was extra was Prat-nav, Sun roof, full-size spare, metallic paint, electric folding mirrors and leather. Oh and reliability, that's an optional extra that wasn't spec'd on my car...

But you got everything else as standard: climate control, cruise control, bluetooth (including music streaming), USB music input, sports seats, diamond-cut alloys, chrome mirrors, contrasting roof, LED DRLs, rattling from the doors, high oil consumption and eventual detonation problems...

I'm not bitter about that car (oh no hang on that's a lie, I'm very bitter. And I will not buy another direct injection turbo petrol for some time!)

My 12 plate FR has 6 speakers in it, is that due to having bluetooth installed? 2 by the back seat, 1 in each door and a little one in each a pillar.

Seems a bit tight if non bluetooth cars only come with 2 speakers though.

Sadly the door speakers are blown so its off back to the dealer to see what they want to do, not holding my breath....

You get four as standard now, two main drivers and two tweeters in the front. If you want rear speakers you must spec option RB7 (which I presume you did) "Bluetooth Communications Pack and Combined USB/AUX-in Port (CUP). Includes handsfree phone connection with voice control and two additional speakers". Not sure when this change came about though.

That makes sense, I've only had the car a couple of weeks so I guess im lucky the previous owner opted for bluetooth and usb.
