Want to know if you can still use the sat nav without using the memory card

Don't think so. I took delivery yesterday. It seems the ds has to be in all the time.

Theres a postcode button on the bottom left where you enter the Town.

The sat nav does take a while to figure out. Seems OK when you get used to it.
