Hill hold or just broken?

My hill holding system, better known as a handbrake can hold the for absolutely ages. It works so well even, that I can get out the car, lock it, and come back to it without it even budging an inch!

My housebrick works the same.....

I think it's great. Very useful for hill starts when you don't have to be bothered with using the hand break for a short stop.
