Hi all,

I'm due to be picking up a mint platinum grey LCR in a few weeks, and I'm having the wheels refurbed ...

Any suggestions on what colour I should go for, or should I keep them standard?

Anyone here got any pics of the standard wheels in different colours on a platinum LCR?

Ta!

Stick with silver mate. Can't see the point spraying them black as you can't see the wheels hardly at all then!! But at least the brake dust won't notice lol

Anthracite, a darker shade than the car, my old platinum, had oz ultraleggeras in that colour, contrast was perfect, yes everyone has grey/anthracite, but they have it for a reason!

I'll keep an eye on this thread as have the same conundrum myself, mine are rattle can black at the moment its how I got it but i've gone off black lately and fancy a change, if I'm daring enough I'm going to go for a matte bronze similar to the Rota Grid Drift Colour. I used an app on the iPhone called vrimz to check some colours on mine. knocked this up which gives you sort of an idea what I am aiming for.

I may just wimp out and go for a Dark Anthracite or Gloss Black.

They do make me consider black again, look really good, only issue I have with black is you seem to loose the definition of the wheel especially when taking photos.

that looks seriously good!

personally dont like black wheels, in even slightly lower light situations it just looks like a black blob.

Theres a golf mk4 with BMW Sepang Bronze alloys I lifted them off that for the mock up, I may actually go for it something different I suppose.

I'm probably really boring but I still like the factory fresh look ... the car I'm buying is pretty much mint condition so I'll most likely go down the OEM route.
