Mk2 cupra r 265 blow off valve????

Hi all,

I had a quick search but couldn't find the right thread

I'm wanting to put a blow off valve on my cupra r 265 but have been warned that after a while my engine will start cutting out, has anyone experienced this?

I'm just wanting a nice noise so any other advise would be appreciated

Just leave it lol, standard one is fine. spend money on remap or intake.

Unless you want to lose power don't other, as above fit an intake if you want the dump noise.

Ok thanks and I'd rather not loose power so I'll leave it might just go for the intake then for now what's the best one to get??

For the louder dump noise you want an open cone intake one of the intakes Betty has listed above are the more popular ones.

As already said stick with the standard unit, plenty good enough, if you want a bit of noise go open cone.

Whats the problem with those ?
How come is there so many negative feed backs on these ? Ive been told its because people are not fitting them correctly.
Could this also be the case ? I'm pretty lazy to believe that ECS a respectable company is going to sell you junk.

There is a thread on here where someone did a lot of data logging with all the BOV options and I believe the OEM Rev G gave the best results

Thanks, I was tired of the same OEM sound.
I wanted to get the wooshing sound that a Supra would produce , im sure they would be using a Greddy BOV or HKS.
