Hello guys on friday i will be the owner of a seat leon 2.0 fr tdi 170 56reg 89k i am moving from a astra vxr to this car because im going to be doing more miles and hoping this is going to be cheaper long term.
I understand the injectors are a problem with these engines are there any uprated injectors i can get to fit this car also dpf problems what can be done.

Tuning:
Also guys is there anything i can do tuning wise or is it worth it with the high mileage car has previously been looked after to a hight standard with tons of invoices full seat service history.

Thanks in advance.

89k is not particularly high mileage on a car that has been well looked after, it's worth looking into a remap if you were looking a bit of extra power

I wouldnt replace injectors just for the sake of it They can be upto 500 each. Plus it might have had a recall if it was available on your car.

If your worried get it terracleaned that will keep your injectors clean and ensure smooth performance.

remap on a diesel is always worth it. improved fuel economy, more response and great torque and power incsrease
It's win win.

Cheers guys when it comes to remaping these cars is the any parts i need to buy prior or can you go stage one as it is

Ring seat to see see if the injectors have been done if not and they need doing they will tell you to book it into your local seat and they will change them along with the loom foc. As for performance get a remap and the dpf deleted.

No it will fail and MOT, but what you can do is have the DPF gutted so they remove all the internals and just leave the physical DPF there just for visual checks

Haha was obviously done by mistake don't know what happened there a don't know how delete posts
